Together, we have it all. Let’s face it, we’re great for each other. Ever since we met, being together brought better days, brighter spirits, bigger hearts, more adventures and many, many laughs. We’ve experienced a lot together, and I hope you know that through the thick and thin (we both know it has not been perfect or easy!) I’ve trusted you, believed in you, and wanted to be with you.

I’m yours and your mine, already without marriage. I’m so excited to marry you though babe, because I know this bond and our love will continue to deepen and that we will always try to challenge and support each other, no matter the years or changes that will happen. So, just to repeat myself (as I sometimes do): Together, we have it all.

You both have such a sweet charm and quality about you. It’s been so much fun getting to work with you and know you a bit better, Kira through Adfed and Cam, meeting you at the shoot! Knowing your family has a portrait studio, Natural Impressions Photography, we are humbled you chose us to capture some fun candid images here and for your big day. As Wendy and I leap into the new year we look forward to making new friends who are keen to our unique style of wedding photography, as well as keeping up with all our new wedding couple friends we made through out 2009. Thank you all for having the utmost faith in our talents as photographers for our inaugural year. It was a privileged to be part of each and every one of your special days!

Since everyone else is doing their “best of….” for 09, I thought we needed the best bride & groom images of 2009 as well! So here are the coolest images, (in our opinion) from the weddings we shot though out the year. I did the preliminary choosing without Wendy but I knew that it would be better to have lots of choices to pick from since they were destined to be debated once she looked at them! One of the great things, (among many others) about wedding photography is that they’re always unique and never dull. So sit back, relax and enjoy these images that were so inspiring for us to create.

Central Oregon Wedding Of Denise & Jimmer At Aspen Hall In Bend, Oregon

What an amazing day this was! Family and friends all turned out to wish Denise and Jimmer a happy life together as they took the big leap. An extra special guest that created quite a stir was an osprey that decided to go fishing in the pond right before the ceremony. Everyone agreed it was a good sign as the huge bird of prey flew off with dinner, (or a snack, since the osprey caught another fish during the reception and I had some time to capture images of the action. By the way, one of the photos I added today is of the osprey flying off with the prize above the water and what you’re seeing is the reflection of the trees, etc below). The couple decided to see each other prior to the ceremony so Wendy and I staged a meeting across the street in Shevlin Park. This turned out to be lots of fun as it was a nice way for Denise and Jimmer to unwind and have a moment to themselves prior to the ceremony.

Denise warned me that I should be ready for the dancing mayhem to commence after dinner was finished. Well, she wasn’t kidding! You could tell everyone wanted to get on the dancefloor ASAP and skip all the other formal “stuff” and when they did get it going I’ve never had such a fun time taking photos. All the love and happiness to you both for lifetimes to come.

Thank you Bob and Margaret for such a wonderful shoot! Shevlin Park in Bend, Oregon is in full bloom this autumn and it couldn’t be a more spectacular place for on location portraits. It was helpful to have two such joyful spirits to work and experiment with. It was great to catch up with you guys!

Taken in the beautiful Shevlin Park, Aura and Logan chose a natural setting including their dog, Juna, that reflected their love for each other and their style. Sunset shots were taken on the top of Shevlin and turned out magically. Thanks you guys, we look foward to seeing you in August for your wedding!
