Such a pleasure to work with you two in a spot so special to us, where we got married!   Thanks for taking the trip up to Timberline Lodge and sharing the spectacular sunset!  So much fun playing in the snow and waiting, waiting, waiting…for the clouds to clear on Mt. Hood!  haha  We look forward to your wedding next year at the High Desert Museum!

Who knew that a phone number on a coffee cup sleeve would be the start to this wonderful journey together, from running through sprinklers at midnight, a snowy week in, a road trip with Snuffleupagus to Utah, many summer days of disc golf, hikes to Falcon Point, concerts, hanging out with horses in Colorado, moving in, birthdays, eating lobster in Maine, spending a night in a haunted cabin, traveling to the North Pole on the Polar Express, weddings, eating at new restaurants, off-roading at Browns Camp, holidays, photo safaris, Blazer and Timber games, my first camping trip near Mt. Hood, visiting the chickens at Pistils, cooking, coconut oolong tea afternoons and most recently, a proposal on Mt. Tabor.

I look forward to adding to this list with you as your wife, this is just a start on our amazing lifelong journey.  I cannot wait to say “I do.”

Our path to each other might have been difficult, filled with many life-altering choices along the way, but every decision we made led to our chance meeting at the Martini Bar that cold winter night two years ago. After hours of dancing….and kissing that night, I had seemingly forgot your name…still sorry about that…I choose to blame the alcohol! LOL. Be that as it may, we no doubt left a lasting impression on each other that night;). What instantly attracted me to you besides the long silky hair you used to have, is was that when I told you I had children you weren’t scared, in fact you were actually intrigued. I have great respect for you coming into to our lives and loving us the way you do. Not only are you an AMAZING father to my children, but you are also an amazing partner and I cannot wait to marry you!! <3

Our wedding day will not just be the day we become husband and wife, it will also be the day that we officially become a family, and the kids and I will begin our lives as Steiners!

It’s crazy to think of how far we have come and how much we have changed and grown in the last two and a half years together. Thank you for always making me laugh and for making these last few years the best of my life. I couldn’t imagine my life with anyone else (not even Edward) I am so proud of you and even though your going to be gone for the longest four months of my life, it’s going to be all worth it because I get to spend the rest of my life with you.

Every time I walk by Anthony’s, I’ve thought about shooting in this fun window – thanks for indulging us!

Jacob, we wish you a safe journey as you start your training in the Air Force tomorrow!  Thanks again you two for such a fun time…you guys did awesome!  4 months will go by quickly for everyone I’m sure… so that we may all rejoin again for your joyous occasion!

When we arrived at the Legion of Honor….there were already two full bridal parties and when we started shooting, a third came…I guess it’s quite a popular place for wedding photos!  Carrie + Richard jumped in with hardly a warm-up and seriously rocked it.  Carrie’s dress was fabulous and these two have an undeniable ease and chemistry that clearly came out on camera.  Next we hit up The Mission and had researched some colorful murals of the area.  These artists did an amazing job in several alleys in that area and the bright colors popped.  From there, we rushed back up to catch the sunset on the Golden Gate Bridge as thankfully the fog didn’t roll in that day.  We nailed the timing with 15 minutes to spare for the sunset!

Carrie + Richard, we wish you guys the best in your wedding planning this year and cannot wait to be with you documenting your special day.  Thank you for indulging us and letting us run you around San Francisco, traffic…urine and ALL.  It was a blast!

It’s amazing to think about how we’ve grown as a couple and as individuals over the last five years. Thank you for supporting me through the stress and long hours of school, for making me laugh each and every day and for letting me truly be myself. I am so excited for the life we have ahead and the learning, laughter and adventures to come. I can’t wait to see the world with you, buy a house with you, have children with you and grow old with you. You are my best friend and I love you.

Gasworks Park

Suzie is the owner at Namaspa Yoga and Massage, which is where we first met.  We were told that Wayne wasn’t a ‘picture guy’ – but that’s what an engagement session will do, it’s a warm up for the wedding day in that respect!  We all had a lot of fun and Wayne’s theatricality came out as the day was full of smiles, funny faces (see below) and an awesome hat!

Suzie + Wayne, congratulations!  Thanks for choosing us to capture some candids of the two of you; we wish you all the peace, health and happiness that life can offer you two.

Being near you has made me feel more calm, safe and loved than I ever thought I could feel.  You’ve brought me across the world, walking non-stop for *hours* in beautiful, foreign places, and I have felt as safe and happy there with you as I have when we are curled up together on our couch with the pup. You are so clearly Home to me, and I can’t believe how lucky I am that we found each other. Can’t wait to be yours on paper too

WOW!  From brilliant sun rays, to radiant aplenglows, to standing on the edge of cliffs….to a barking Corgy…this pre-wedding engagement session out at Smith Rock State Park had it all!  You two are so super cute and even through the chills and wind of the Central Oregon evening, you brought the love and body heat!  ha ha…  It was awesome Zack to swap climbing stories with you and even discover some of the same friendships.
