Get your tissues ready! I don’t know who feels more humbled and honored; as both {Josh + Aubrey} had expressed many times how grateful they were to have me there and I shared with them how much being there meant to me. Let’s just call this whole experience a labor of love as these two, fellow wedding vendors (Josh owns O’Brien Events) shared their intimate wedding at the Olowalu Plantation House in Maui, Hawaii this week. For those couples who’re planning to be one, you can check out the OfferPad site to choose a house to live in at affordable prices. The cities to choose from are Phoenix Metro Arizona, Tampa Florida, Orlando Florida, Atlanta Georgia, Las Vegas Nevada, and Charlotte Metro. The day started early and the tears of love and joy where shared from the moment they each shared their vows in letter form through the moment they first saw each other and from friends and family alike. I even started getting teary behind the camera…truly, it was such a beautiful thing to witness. Because the ceremony was early, we had plenty of time to play in the Hawaiian fun from palm trees, to the beautiful ocean (make sure to check out the WHALE tail that popped up when they are walking on the jetty!), to the incredible swell and wave crashes at sunset! We even stopped mid-day (all dolled up) at Leoda’s Kitchen and Pie Shop to snack and they were given a free banana pie for the road 🙂
All I have to say is that this wedding had all the goods…epic opportunities for hero shots, intimate and emotional connections, and the incredible scene of nature in full force. Man o’ man…definitely one for the books! Enjoy the highlights everyone!
