Words cannot describe the joy and emotion experienced when you see a close family member so in love and so in the moment on their wedding day! I was honored to capture my sister-in-law and the love of her life as they married on the beaches of the Outer Banks of NC in Duck. This delightful little town had incredible beaches, boardwalk and shops and was a perfect setting for their destination wedding. Wendy was the matron of honor and put the camera down to share this special time with her sister, so I worked with a new friend and another talented artist, Jessica Arden to document these special moments! As with practically every other wedding day this summer, we awoke to a bright sunny day with not a single cloud in the sky! Everyone was delighted (after fretting the possibility of rain all week) and in the words of {Jill + Nathan}, “I wouldn’t have changed a single thing, it was a perfect day.”
They met in a sandbox at 3 years old, as their mothers have been friends for over 35 years, and although they crisscrossed life paths over the years, they always remained friends. Nathan knew first that she was the one about 3 years before Jill did but when they finally came together, everyone knew that was IT! It’s so cool to have an incredible family (The Willetts) to spend quality time with get to know this week!
We love you both and can’t wait to see where life takes you…we are here for you always!

It was such a special day and for a Mom, to see her daughter so happy, so in love, is over the top. Byron your words at the beginning are wonderfully heart-felt and the photography gorgeous. They still bring tears to my eyes and make my heart pound from joy. It was a great week that we all shared, made possible by Nathan and Jill falling in love!
