{DARA + JOEL} ENGAGEMENT SESSION SMITH ROCK STATE PARK TERREBONNE, OREGON [] CENTRAL OREGON WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

It’s always a complement when relatives through our past clients hire us as their wedding photographers but it’s even that much cooler when some of these family work as professional photographers!  With {Dara + Joel}’s interest in wine, our first stop on this shoots adventure was to downtown Redmond where the owner of the newly established Red Martini Wine Bar and Grill graciously let us in after hours to take advantage of this really funky/cool seating bench which you’ll need to check out below.  In addition to photographing out at Smith Rock State Park and the Red Martini, we wanted to create something cool in one of the many lava tubes surrounding the Central Oregon area so if you’re ever up for an adventure these things are so fun to check out!!  The final part of our adventure was when we got out to Smith Rock, and the light could not have been more amazing to capture the two of them.  That being said, we can’t wait for your wedding at Black Butte Ranch in addition to all the stories after your travels to Indo!  Enjoy

Thank you so much Cindy for your kind words!! Coming from a fellow photographer, we are delighted to have captured two of your daughter’s weddings now! It’s such an honor and I can’t wait to share with you the images we got with you and your hubby too in that sweet, sweet light 🙂 Big hugs ~Wendy

Hi Cindy,

Thanks so much for your kind words! Wendy and I feel so lucky and blessed to be able to give our talents back to others. I can tell you that one of the best things about my job is getting to meet all the fun and interesting new people we get to work with though our journeys!! The hardest part is after the weddings when we know we probably won’t get to see them for a while!

Cheers,
Byron

Hi Byron & Wendy,
Just wanted to let you know how much I love these images of yours of Dara and Joel. My favorites of course are around Smith Rock with that sweet sweet light. Of course though, your compositions made it all fall into place. Plus, I can tell you had them at ease by the natural expressions I see on their faces. I’m having trouble making a decision on my favorite, but I’m leaning toward the very first one you posted last week.

Looking forward to watching you work again at the wedding. You two make it look easy. Most importantly, I know I’ll enjoy your final images. Since wedding rings are one of your signature shots, I’m particularly excited to see how you address that beautiful ring Joel gave Dara!

See you soon! And thanks so much for your time and creativity, not only in your photography but in getting these two to an engagement session.
Cindy
