Wow, we totally fell in love with this venue and the surrounding area when we first met up with {Jessica + Curtis} last year. The color and texture of the venue as well as the surrounding area, combined with the creativity of Jessica and the coordination team of Simply Wed, made this wedding total eye candy. We were honored to shoot their wedding and continue our relationship with Jessica’s family after photographing her brother’s wedding a few years ago (see {Katie + Brian’s} wedding). Seeing the family again after two years was a delight and the trust was there from the start!
Eclectic is a word we love to use to describe our best client’s taste in general and this wedding encapsulated that with the off-beat location and the fact that they had an on-site wood-burning pizza oven creating custom pizzas for dinner. Talk about fun! {Jessica + Curtis} also opted to do a first look and have us photograph all of their portraits ahead of the ceremony. Not only did it work out singingly well but Jessica and Curtis were able to spend 45 minutes mingling with their guests during the cocktail hour and then had a fun intro for dinner seating! Without the whirlwind of a ton of photos after the ceremony, they could easily relax and be present with friends and family for an extended period of time and that is truly what we wish for with all our couples. Cheers for a fabulous event and the heart you guys obviously put into your big day. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the results!
