We were a little nervous driving to Cori + Jase’s big day at Black Butte Ranch, Oregon because of a blazing wildfire miles down the road. Thankfully the wind and weather cooperated…it even gave off the most unusual and magnificent light for the evening!
Cori + Jase are from Salt Lake City, Utah but are tied to Oregon because she grew up spending holidays and fun at Black Butte Ranch; it was the perfect place to tie the knot. DIY details included a sign-in leaf tree, custom name tags and custom labeled pint glasses as well as beautifully made programs. We were honored to be mentioned in the program (you can say when we first read it we were surprised and honored!). They said:
To Byron and Wendy of Byron Roe Photography: Thanks for helping preserve the memories we are making. We’re pretty lucky to have the best photographers around with us today!
Thank you guys so much for including us in your special day…I think we were the lucky ones to share those memories with you 🙂 Cori, you are so beautiful and we hope these pictures always remind you of that, your love for Jase and the promise you made to each other for everyone to witness and share in. All the best in your journey of life and marriage!

Horse: “You brought flowers for me? You shouldn’t have…okay, I’ll have a snack.”
Jase…that’s not exactly the best way to cut the cake…just sayin’ 🙂
We got the grandparents showing a little love and smooches; I think this was an embarrassed laugh. Super cute!
