PPN of Bend (or otherwise known as PP – NOB as Studio 3 likes to call it!) is a new organization dedicated to bringing wedding/portrait photographers in Bend and Central Oregon continuing education, great speakers and inspiration shoots. Organized and started by the Studio 3 trio: Jeff Kennedy, Tambi Lane and Kimberly Teichrow, this group is excited to announce their very FIRST meeting is next Tuesday, Oct 4th.
I’m excited to be the opening speaker for their inaugural meeting next week and wanted to share some details with everyone.

Join us at Studio 3 for our first regular meeting – with Wendy Roe of Byron Roe Photography presenting on ‘Web Marketing for Photography Q/A Session’. Together we’ll discuss quick tips to enhance your web marketing, we’ll review forward-thinking site examples to get the juices flowing and have an interactive Q/A discussion on ideas to bring your site and blog to the next level. The session will open with a top list of tips, we’ll review some inspirational sites and the bulk of the meeting will be Q/A.
Your Homework: Bring a link to another photographer’s website (out of the local area please) you admire – and we’ll discuss its effectiveness. Bring a notebook and any questions you may have for this interactive Q/A session.
Bring your PPN membership registration – or register online. And announcing – no membership fees until January 2012! Please RSVP to studio3bend@gmail.com so we can plan seating accordingly.

BIO:
Wendy Roe has spent the last 10 years ingrained in all things web marketing – from design/development to search/social media. In May 2010, she decided to quit the corporate life and join forces with her husband, Byron Roe, to shoot full-time one of life’s ultimate highs – weddings. She now focuses on business development and being a second shooter for Bend, Oregon based wedding photographers, Byron Roe Photography.
Recently, she’s enjoyed speaking at WPPI Photographer’s Ignite and to west coast PUG groups consulting photographers on web marketing. She’s known as an interpreter, changing technical language into easy information. Above all, she’s an educator at heart and believes: “Web marketing and wedding photography are two passions that drive bringing the best out beauty and brands.”
Wendy is a regular contributor on the Pictage ‘The Photo Life’ and Photographer’s Web Marketing Guide blogs and is currently working on an ebook co-authored with Zach Prez, on an intermediate guide for photography web marketing with contributors such as: Kevin Kubota, Sal Cincotta, Jules Bianchi, Kenny Kim, Michael Corsentino, Andrew Funderburg and more.
