Bend and Sunriver, Oregon have a draw for couples in the Pacific Northwest. We often hear that one or both of our couples have wonderful childhood memories vacationing here, family ski trips and cheerful Christmases because it’s the perfect place to relax. Megan and Matt are two advertising execs in Seattle and when looking for a place to marry, they looked no further than Bend. As well as having family here, they’ve spent some great days on Mt. Bachelor in their youth.
The day of the shoot it was gray, rainy and a little on the gloomy side in Bend (frankly it reminded them of Seattle!), so we decided to head up to Sunriver in the hopes it would be snowing and beautiful. Sunriver Resort had the whole lodge decked out with holiday cheer and with the downpour of snow, it was quite the scene!
Megan and Matt, thanks for sharing some holiday spirit with us and taking a quick jaunt in order to capture the beautiful decorations, lights and snowfall they had! We really enjoyed meeting you both! We couldn’t believe the amount of snow that was coming down so thanks for being adventurous and venturing into the cold to capture some fun and big flakes. Next time, we bring an umbrella, eh!? he he
